In Indonesia, buddhist organizations have been busily helping the medical teams in whichever ways we can as well as helping the common people by providing masks, cooked food and food-necessities.
Our Indonesian Theravada Buddhists have provided medical items to over 30 hospitals in Jakarta and other provinces, as well as non-medical masks and food necessities for common people.
PATRIA (the buddhist youths) has also been providing cooked food for under-priviledge people for 21 days nationwide, until a complete one month.
Sermons, Dhamma-teachings, meditations have been switched into online so that people can listen while they stay home. Many major buddhist activities have been cancelled, to reduce gatherings. Nationwide we have been asked to chant Ratana-Sutta at 8pm.
