How Buddhist World is coping with the COVID-19 pandemic In USA ?

USA BUDDHIST ACTIVITIES

The International Network of Love-in-Action(INLA)

Feb. 3rd, INLA responded, with donation, to Buddhist Tzu-Chi Foundation's call for emergency protective aids, such as face masks, gowns, etc. etc. to China when China was in coronavirus lock-down situation. Later in early April, Tzu-Chi-US had a 2nd call for donation to buy virus protective supplies for American hospitals during their outcries of  PPE shortage, individually myself donated USD500.- and Alice Huang over USD800.-, not to speak of our other contributions to several charitable organizations for the same goal of helping at this ruthless pandemic impact.

Besides, since late March, INLA secretary, Cathy Wei Cheng has launches fund-raising campaign in order to buy face masks, face shields, gowns from wherever they could locally and from China, and organizing volunteers to hand-deliver these protective supplies to local front-line medical workers at Emergency Rooms, and/or law-enforcing police. As there is still a great shortage of face masks to protect local policemen at work, we, INLA, further pledged to contribute 2000 KN-95 face masks for the mission.  Attached hereto you will find some photos for the activities our members have so far conducted.
