"เจ้าพระคุณสมเด็จพระสังฆราช ท่านเคยตอบคำถามนี้ว่าเราศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนากันทำไม น่าจะปี ๒๕๒๖ ในช่วงเข้าพรรษาของปีนั้น สมเด็จพระสังฆราชสอนพระใหม่ที่มาบวชตลอดพรรษา ตอนหลังพิมพ์ออกมาเป็นหนังสือชื่อว่า ลักษณะพระพุทธศาสนา "ท่านได้ตั้งคำถามว่าเราศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนากันทำไม และคำตอบในบทนั้นหรือหนังสือทั้งเล่มนั้นท่านบอกว่า เราศึกษาพระพุทธศาสนาเพื่อ ๓ อย่าง คือ เพื่อความจริง เพื่อความดี เพื่อความงาม" ในวาระรำลึกเดือนแห่งการประสูติและสิ้นพระชนม์ของ 'สมเด็จพระสังฆราชเจ้า กรมหลวงวชิรญาณสังวร' พระเทพศากยวงศ์บัณฑิต (อนิลมาน ธมฺมสากิโย) ได้เมตตาปรารภธรรมในกิจกรรมธรรมะในสวน ตักบาตรเดือนเกิด เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ ๔ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๓ ณ หอจดหมายเหตุพุทธทาส อินทปัญโญ
